Snowy & Lumpy's Story
These two were two hand-reared calves that John and I reared ourselves. As their mums were less than attentive it was over to the family to take care of them from just a few days old. They were small and helpless, and very cute. Snowy was a white, fluffy cute girly calf and Lumpy was a boy, with brown fur and big beautiful eyes. Over the months their bottles of milk became buckets of milk and they grew and grew. It became quite unnerving to call them for their milk as they grew, having a huge ‘calf’ hurtling at high speed toward you for their ‘milky time ‘! Lovely memories of them though.

There is a covered kitchen area which is fully equipped with everything you need to cook as well as a gas hob and picnic bench.
The cover extends to the fire pit area in case of rain. The pitch also comes with solar lights.
This pitch has its own private outdoor quirky covered shower & a compost toilet in the interest of being as sustainable as possible on our new site, ( also with solar lighting).
